Mediterranean Conference Centre
This is a completely independent conference complex, with facilities that make it one of the finest in the Mediterranean. What makes it stand out from most of the other conference centres is its unique character, the architectural blending of the old with the new.
Nowhere else in Malta is there such a perfect merger of history with the 21st century. Indeed, the centre's historical asset is one of the major conference selling points.
A touch of majesty, its restoration and conversation into a first class conference complex won for Malta a Europa Nostra Award.
The building's magnificent corridors, with sculptured vaulted ceilings, give a touch of majesty to the centre and evoke the atmosphere of what must have surely been one of the most colourful and pulsating chapters in the island's history.
The complex of the centre covers a total area of 7,000 sqm.
The principal meeting room is the Republic Hall, which can seat up to 1,400 people. The centre also contains five other fully air-conditioned halls with seating capacities ranging from 70 to 450 all of which have simultaneous translation facilities and audio/visual equipment.
